Freefall replaces the feed and the algorithm with a single, considered introduction from an expert matchmaker. Here’s the whole journey.

Create your profile
Tell us who you are and who you're looking for.
Add a few photos, share what you're into, and set your preferences — who you'd like to meet, roughly where, and what you're hoping for. A real person is going to read this, so write it for a person.
Meet your match
A real matchmaker introduces you to one person.
One of our expert matchmakers reads your profile and picks someone for you. Not a model guessing from your swipes — a human being making a considered introduction. You get one person, with a real profile you can actually read, and no grid of alternatives pulling at your attention.
Give your feedback
Date or don't. Either way, tell us how it landed.
You don't have to go on a date with your match. But you do have to tell us what you thought. Not your type? Say so, and say why. Great conversation but no spark? Tell us. Your feedback is private to Freefall and never shown to the other person.
We get better
Your feedback shapes the next introduction.
Every note you leave teaches your matchmaker something about what you actually want, which is often different from what a profile says. When a match ends, your next introduction is built on everything we've learned so far.

Who chooses my matches?

A real expert matchmaker. Not an algorithm. Every match on Freefall is made by a person who has read your profile and your feedback.

The rules

Freefall only works if everyone on it is actually trying. So we hold ourselves, and you, to a short list.

Feedback is required
The date is optional. The feedback isn't. It's the one thing we ask of you, and it's how the whole thing improves.
No reply, no more matches
People who don't reply to their match stop receiving matches. Everyone you're introduced to is genuinely here to meet someone.
Bad actors are removed
Rude, dishonest, or unsafe behavior gets reported to a real person and acted on. We remove people who make dating worse for everyone else.
Boring gets matched with boring
We mean that kindly. If your ideal Friday is a book and an early night, we won't send you someone who lives for the club. We match you with your perfect match, not with the app's idea of exciting.

The conversation opens as soon as you're introduced. Send texts and photos — no unlock steps, no fees.
End a match, kindly
Not every introduction becomes a relationship. You can end a match at any time. Just tell us why, so your next introduction fits better.
Pause whenever you need
Going through a busy stretch, or a date is going well? Pause matching in one tap and resume when you're ready.
Stay safe throughout
Block and report are always one tap away, and your profile is only ever visible to your current match.
